Kitty Distempaid is a natural organic herbal remedy that helps your kitten or cat overcome feline distemper, also known as: feline panleukopenia (FP), feline infectious enteritis, cat typhoid, and cat fever. This Kitty Distempaid natural remedy will ease gastrointestinal distress, gas, cramping, vomiting, and bloody diarrhea. Kitty Distempaid contains herbs that calm and soothe the digestive tract, as well as boost the immune system and help fight the feline panleukopenia virus.
This natural Kitty Distempaid remedy is also useful for vomiting, bloody diarrhea, corona, e-coli, and giardia. Kitty Distempaid helps build the immune system (especially good for kittens who are weaning from their mother - in this situation you can give "Kitty Distempaid" once a day). "Kitty Distempaid" can help stop the vomiting and diarrhea caused by environment or diet changes, stress, and ease travel discomfort, bloat, gas, and in some cases it helps alleviate bad breath.

What is Feline Distemper? Feline Distemper (Panleukopenia) is a viral disease affecting domestic cats and all other felids (e.g., lions, tigers, and other wild cats), as well as raccoons, and mink. Feline Distemper usually affects kittens that less than one year of age. However, kittens that are born to affected queens (infected in utero) or infected very shortly after birth may display tremors, have a very high stepping gait, stand with their feet very far apart, or even fall down while standing or walking.
How is feline distemper transmitted? The feline distemper virus is shed in all body secretions and excretions of affected animals. Recovered animals may shed the virus for months. Fleas and other insects, especially flies, may play a role in transmission of the disease. The route of infection is either inhalation or ingestion of infective material by a susceptible host. Feline distemper virus affects all rapidly dividing cells including cells of the intestinal mucosa, bone marrow, and reticuloendothelial system.
How is feline distemper diagnosed? Feline distemper diagnosis is made from clinical signs and demonstration of an extremely low white blood cell count. Confirmation of the diagnosis can be made by detection of virus particles in the feces.
Feline Distemper Treatment and Control: The current veterinarian treatment for feline distemper consists of intravenous fluids or plasma and transfusions may be given. Because of the low white blood cell counts, animals are particularly susceptible to other infections, so antibiotics may be given to treat or attempt to prevent secondary infections. Younger kittens and animals with very low white blood cell counts have much less chance of surviving the disease.
We recommend giving Vibactra Plus in conjunction with the Feline Distemper remedy. Vibactra Plus is designed to work on viral and bacterial infections, so it will help eliminate the distemper virus, plus prevent secondary infections.
What are the symptoms of Feline Distemper? Signs of feline panleukopenia can vary in severity from very mild to severe. The many signs are not always typical and many owners may even believe that their cat has been poisoned or swallowed a foreign object. Because of this fact, treatment may be delayed or neglected. The first signs you might notice are generalized depression, loss of appetite, high fever, lethargy, vomiting, dehydration, and hanging over the water dish.
The course of the disease may be short and explosive. Advanced cases, when discovered may cause death within hours. Normally, the sickness may go on for three or four days after the first elevation of body temperature. Fever will fluctuate during the illness and abruptly fall to subnormal levels shortly before death. Other signs in later stages may be diarrhea, anemia, dehydration, and persistent vomiting. Feline distemper is so prevalent and the signs so varied that any sick cat should be taken to a veterinarian for a definite diagnosis.
Panleukopenia destroys tissues in the body including white blood cells. This leaves the kitten open for growth of bacteria or viruses. Cats that are treated early at the onset of the disease have a better chance of recovery than those who aren't.
It helps to suppress viral and bacterial infections while a kitten is in this susceptible state. Vitamin C can be given along with the Kitty Distempaid and Vibactra Plus treatment. For large cats 250 milligrams per hour and for kittens 100 milligrams per hour while the cat is in the feverish state will help to build the immune system back up.
Once the fever is down and the cat can hold down food, you can start feeding solid food. Raw beef or chicken liver for 2-3 days is a tonic for cats. We find our cats prefer chicken liver to beef liver. Avoid chilling for several days afterwards and continue with the Kitty Distempaid four times per day, Vibactra Plus twice a day and Vitamin C twice a day for a couple of weeks to prevent a relapse.

Wolf Creek Ranch NOTE: The Kitty Distempaid and Vibactra Plus remedies are working fabulously for all feline distemper cases, including kitty rescues, with a 98% success rate, even when the kitty's veterinarian didn't hold out much hope for the kitten. If dosed according to directions, recovery begins nearly immediately and within 24 to 48 hours kittens are eating on their own again. This includes those who have started having seizures, these remedies can help them get well and stop having seizures if dosed immediately.
Treating a litter of kittens? If you are treating numerous kittens, some preventatively and some for active distemper infections, we recommend obtaining either our tiny 1/2 ounce or 1 ounce dropper bottles, so you can split the herbal remedies into separate bottles - possibly one for preventative dosing and the other for active infection dosing or so you can split part of a bottle to give to someone else who is treating kittens in another location: home, shelter, or rescue. This helps prevent having to purchase 2 or 3 bottles of product, if you really don't need that much.

Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Do not give to cats if pregnant. Watch for allergic symptoms such as hives, trouble swallowing and swelling around the eyes. If one is experiencing any adverse symptoms or notes any adverse signs, then cease using this product & immediately contact your nearest emergency medical system. The use of Kitty Distempaid in the presence of endocrine pancreatic dysfunction (e.g. diabetes mellitus or acute infectious pancreatitis) and evidence of liver disease is a contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product. Alcohol may be removed by protocol (for every drop of Kitty Distempaid, add 1 drop of hot water and let cool).
This product has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
SUGGESTED USE WHEN TREATING MORE THAN ONE PET:
***When treating more than one pet with the same dropper, it is necessary to assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet. The best way to assure this is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe, using a different syringe for each pet. (This method will also reduce the chances of product contamination.) Those syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet.
The use of a syringe containing measured drops from the dropper will also remove the risk of the animal biting the glass dropper.***
