KENNEL-KOFF is a natural organic canine kennel cough treatment remedy which helps your dog fight kennel cough (tracheobronchitis) and other similar upper respiratory infections. Kennel-Koff is useful for upper respiratory infections in cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, horses, foals, birds, reptiles, and other animals. In most cases the Kennel-Koff remedy will relieve your pet from the cough within 48 hours! Even when traditional kennel cough treatment doesn't work, organic Kennel-Koff is known to be very effective.
What is the Kennel-Koff treatment remedy? Kennel-Koff is an organic natural herbal antibiotic designed to help your pet overcome the bacterial infection causing kennel cough and other upper respiratory infections. It also has antioxidants, which helps the body rid itself of free radicals.
Kennel-Koff contains natural organic herbs: olive leaf, mustard seed, black seed, pau d'arco, alcohol, and distilled water. Kennel-Koff has a shelf life of 4 years (longer if kept cool).
What are the symptoms of kennel cough? Symptoms of canine kennel cough (tracheobronchitis) or similar upper respiratory infections may include: fever, nasal discharge, conjunctivitis, sneezing, and a harsh dry cough that sounds like the animal has something caught in their throat. Although by itself, kennel cough is not a serious disease it can lead to pneumonia.
If your dog has a dry wet cough, the natural Pet's Cough & Cold Formula may work better. If your dog has the canine influenza virus (canine flu), we recommend giving both the natural organic herbal Pet's Cough & Cold Formula AND Kennel-Koff remedies. The Pet's Cough & Cold Formula soothes the throat and cough (like Formula 44D or Robitussin for people) and the Kennel-Koff is a natural antibiotic to fight the upper respiratory bacterial infection. Are canine kennel cough, canine influenza virus, and/or other respiratory infections contagious? Canine kennel cough (tracheobronchitis) and similar pet upper respiratory infections are highly contagious. Pet upper respiratory infections are easily spread amongst susceptible animals housed in close confinement, e.g. veterinary hospitals, kennels, shows, parks, or anywhere there is a large gathering of dogs, cats, birds, horses, etc. Stress, and extremes of ventilation, temperature, and humidity increase susceptibility to and severity of upper respiratory infections.
The cough can last up to 6 weeks, but using the Kennel-Koff treatment the cough usually stops within 48 to 72 hours. However, you must continue to treat for 7 to 10 days. If the cough persists longer than 5 days and you have not seen much of an improvement, there may be other factors to consider. The Canine Flu or allergies are the most common.
Canine flu can mimic kennel cough. Do not confuse kennel cough with the canine flu. Symptoms are similar, except the canine flu exhibits a discharge from the eyes or nose and exhibits a wet congested cough.
If you are not sure what your pet has, it is perfectly safe to use both Kennel-Koff (antibiotic) and Pet's Cough & Cold Formula (cough suppressant) together.

For larger animals, add an additional 5 drops of the Kennel-Koff remedy per 100 pounds of the animal's body weight to each dose. When dosing horses, elephants, and larger animals, please note: 100 drops = 1 tsp.; 50 drops = 1/2 tsp.; 25 drops = 1/4 tsp. A one (1) ounce bottle of Kennel-Koff contains approximately 1080 drops and a 4 ounce bottle contains approximately 4,320 drops.
Suggested Use: Select proper dosage of the Kennel-Koff remedy from the chart above. Give orally 4 times daily for up to 10 days. One bottle of Kennel-Koff will treat approximately 3 medium sized puppies. For upper respiratory infections in birds or reptiles, it is suggested to add 2 drops to their waterers, rather than dosing directly in their mouths.
Suggested Preventative Use: Kennel-Koff can be given twice a day for 10 days before and after a show or boarding at a kennel or when your pet has been exposed to another animal with kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection. This can help prevent your animal from coming down with the illness. Although this is not a guarantee, using the Kennel-Koff remedy as a preventative works well if dosed as soon as you know your pet has been exposed to another animal with an upper respiratory infection.
Note: IF the Kennel-Koff remedy does NOT take care of your dog, cat, horse, or other animals upper respiratory infection and stop the cough within 5 days, try the Pet's Cough & Cold Formula with it, as it may have the canine influenza virus (flu). If within 5 days of administering both the Kennel-Koff and the Pet's Cough & Cold Formula, your dog is not noticeably better, we recommend taking him to your vet to have him tested for canine distemper. We have had a rise in canine distemper cases again, starting in February 2007. Unfortunately, vets are diagnosing kennel cough in many of these cases. Canine distemper is harder to treat and can require months of treatment.
