Disease has become a common word in nearly everyone's household.
Your friends, family, co-workers, pets, and others you know talk
about having fibromyalgia, diabetes, cancer, kidney failure,
liver disease, heart disease, etcetera, etcetera, etctera. The
list of diseases is endless and it seems that dis-ease is a
normal state of being for most people and pets on this planet.
Disease is NOT a normal state of being. Disease should not be
running our lives and consuming all the dollars in our bank
accounts and then some. Some of our customers brag about the 16
different medications they take daily and I've heard them
compare themselves to someone else who only takes 5 medications,
like taking more is something to be proud of?? What is happening
to us, our family, friends, furry and feathered companions?
Disease accompanies those with a weakened immune system. The
old adage, you are what you eat is often very true. Of course,
as with anything, there are a few who can get away with eating
junk food daily, smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol excessively,
get vaccinated anytime a new vaccine comes out on the market,
and still they appear to thrive. Those people are rare and
personally, I have never met one who can get away with toxifying
their body like that for an extended period of time without
succumbing to disease.
Our television commercials encourage you to see your doctor
for a wide list of health complaints so you can obtain this or
that drug. Many of which advise side effects of the drug can
include "death"! And yet, they don't like natural remedies
advising they are good for healing ANY dis-ease (even though
most natural remedies do not have "death" listed as one of the
side effects) and often put real honest people out of business
or in jail for selling natural effective products that help
people get well.
It has been our experience that MANY people prefer to
relinquish responsibility for their or their family members
health to a professional doctor. It is often "easier" to see a
medical professional, spend thousands and thousands of dollars,
and when the disease gets worse or the patient dies, they feel
like they did everything they could possibly do to help that
being heal, as they did what the doctor or vet said and spent
lots of money, but the disease was "incurable" and many people
"accept" that.
Realize, in an ideal world, money would NOT be the deciding
factor when caring for the health and life of anyone. Always,
the ultimate goal should be improvement of health and providing
the tools to help a being's body overcome disease and be strong
and healthy again. My body and yours, as well as our animal
friends body's were designed to fight disease, but if we
continue to throw drugs, chemicals, toxins, and poor nutrition
into these bodies and choose NOT to support the immune system,
all efforts to heal will fail. Some will fail quickly and result
in death, others will allow the being to linger in a state of
health that "appears" to be "okay" and others will just continue
to decline.
WHY do we tolerate such treatment? My guess is people
tolerate this unsatisfactory health care system because they are
either too tired, uniformed, or they just don't have the
fortitude to stick it out and do what needs to be done to
support the body to help it overcome disease. Taking
responsibility for the health of ones-self or another being,
especially when death can be the end result is often too scarey
to consider attempting.
For many, just changing ones' diet to contain at least 60%
fresh fruits and vegetables everyday (for people) is too hard to
do to help heal themselves, as they are accustomed to eating
traditional junk food every day and it is easier to go the
traditional medicinal route by just taking pills, injections,
etc.
Anyways, all diseases are cureable. Your health and the
health of your skinned, furry, or feathered family members is
largely your responsibility. No one else cares about you or your
own, as much as you do and we believe it is best to research
information about the disease you are dealing with and make the
best informed choices you possibly can. Talk to others, read,
research, and don't just take one persons word for it - even if
it is a "medical professional".
We have provided many links to give you information about
different health care modalities and among them is traditional
veterinary information to assist in your research of diseases,
etc. We do not necessarily advocate use of traditional vet
medicine, but believe some of these sites are useful in
obtaining knowledge. If you question any information and are
truly seeking holistic remedies, we urge to look into some of
the holistic animal health discussion lists where there are many
others who have learned from experience, many who are in the
animal health field, book authors, breeders, holistic vets,
etc., who can help provide you insight into information you are
seeking. We strongly believe everything was put on this planet
that we need to cure disease. The higher Spirit/Being, God,
Goddess, whomever you believe in, did not put needles here for
us to inject ourselves and our animals with, amongst many other
man made drugs, etc. Our experiences, amongst those of MANY
others, is showing without a doubt, that holistic care is truly
best. Please take your time and thoroughly research the things
you have come here for. Longevity and superior health is what
you will gain, as will your companions.
The bottom line goal is not just to treat any dis-ease or
illness, but to effect a permanent CURE. Holistic methods can do
this, whereas traditional man made medicines usually only offer
temporary relief from illness or dis-ease.
Healthy animals rarely succumb to disease, illness, or bad
behaviors. When they do, they bounce back quicker than unhealthy
animals. They get plenty of exercise, sunshine, love, tlc,
natural rearing foods that are biologically appropriate to the
specific animal, clean environments, mental exercise in the way
of proper, appropriate training, and avoidance of toxins. They
have jobs to keep them busy, whether watching the house while we
are gone or making sure the couch or cats don't get eaten while
we are away. They are part of our family. Often, they are better
than a few humans in our immediate family and deserve the BEST
possible health care we can give them.
Our Natural Health Care Books web page has lots of excellent natural health resource books that can help you educate yourself about true health and make the best decisions for everyone in your family - skinned, furred, feathered, and finned.
This site is dedicated to all animals and their guardians.
Whether you are here to find information and links to research
holistic methods or just browsing, please feel free to linger as
long as you wish.
