How to tell if your pet is in pain:
- Posture ~ Hunched back, guarding (protecting) the painful area, "Praying" position (front legs and head on floor, hindquarters in the air), sitting or laying abnormally, attempting to rest in an abnormal position, head hanging down.
- Movement ~ Stiff, bearing no or partial weight on affected limb, any degree of limp, thrashing restless, trembling, or shaking, weak tail wait or low carriage of tail, limited or no movement when awake, slow to rise.
- Vocalization ~ Screaming, whining, crying, barking or growling, lack of vocalization (no greeting bark or noise).

White Willow Bark ~ contains salicylates, which are aspirin like ingredients.
Feverfew ~ has been used, like aspirin, primarily as a pain buffer. Reduces inflammation, used for relieving pain linked to arthritis and reducing painful menstruation, and is an effective treatment for migraine headaches.
Meadowsweet ~ contains aspirin like substances, which reduce fever and relieve pain, protects and soothes mucous membranes of the digestive tract.
Wintergreen ~ contains salicylates. It has traditionally been used for backache, sciatica, rheumatism, muscle, joint, and nerve pain.
Alcohol ~ to bring out the properties in the herbs and preserve the tincture.

NOTE: Pet's PAIN Formula should not be taken if you or your pet have a sensitivity to aspirin. Cats cannot tolerate aspirin products as they can cause kidney failure in cats.
One bottle of Pet's PAIN Formula will treat approximately 3 medium size dogs. Pet's PAIN Formula has a shelf life of 4 years (longer if kept in a cool dark place).
**For larger animals, add an additional 5 drops of the Pet's Pain Formula for each additional 100 pounds of the animal's body weight to each dose. When dosing horses, elephants, and larger animals.
Please note:
- 100 drops = 1 tsp.
- 50 drops = 1/2 tsp.
- 25 drops = 1/4 tsp.
A one (1) ounce bottle of Pet's Pain Formula contains approximately 1080 drops and a 4 ounce bottle contains approximately 4,320 drops.
Suggested Use:
Shake well before use. Select proper dosage of Pet's PAIN Formula from the chart above. Give orally 1 to 3 times daily as needed.
Cautions: Keep out of reach of children. NOT recommended for pregnant animals. An overdose can cause miscarriage. Do NOT give to cats or birds, as they can experience kidney failure when given aspirin like substances. This product contains white willow, which has aspirin properties. White willow has been known to thin the blood. Watch for allergic symptoms such as hives, trouble swallowing and swelling around the eyes. If one is experiencing any adverse symptoms or notes any adverse signs, then cease using this product & immediately contact your nearest emergency medical system. The use of Pet's Pain in the presence of endocrine pancreatic dysfunction (e.g. diabetes mellitus or acute infectious pancreatitis) and evidence of liver disease is a contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product. Alcohol may be removed by protocol (for every drop of Pet's Pain, add 1 drop of hot water and let cool).
This product has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
SUGGESTED USE WHEN TREATING MORE THAN ONE PET:
***When treating more than one pet with the same dropper, it is necessary to assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet. The best way to assure this is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe—using a different syringe for each pet. (This method will also reduce the chances of product contamination.) Those syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet.
The use of a syringe containing measured drops from the dropper will also remove the risk of the animal biting the glass dropper.***
